Dickinson Gleeson was established in 2010 by, James Dickinson and James Gleeson.

Their vision was to establish an exceptional conflict free boutique Dispute Resolution firm, which would have at the core of its’ offering a tenacious and undeviating commitment to achieving its client’s objectives and a commitment to providing cost effective and practical legal advice. They wanted to offer clients a choice of either going to a larger firm, where they may be left with an inexperienced associate, or coming to a smaller firm and having their case or matter handled by an experienced lawyer. In order to achieve their vision James Dickinson and James Gleeson determined that the firm would, in the delivery of services to its clients, be: –

In cross border work, the firm has the ability to draw on a network of international experts.
• Creative: The firm has found and continues to find cutting edge legal solutions for its clients, including by developing Jersey’s jurisprudence.

In 2013, in response to client demand, Craig Swart joined the firm to lead its firm’s non contentious Private Wealth Advisory practice.

The firm acts for a broad range of clients including HNWIs, ultra-HNWIs, financial institutions, government bodies, insurance companies, law firms, NGO’s, professional service companies, religious institutions and trust companies.
